Kpaw thanks for the heads up, I know there are signs posted about GBH but I have never seen one in High Park will keep my eye open now - cheers!

Yes, definitely look for him or her or them (last summer there were at least three) - the really regular one is at the marshy, swampy northerly part of Grenadier Pond just slightly before you get to the Ellis Park little fork in the road - the pond narrows and he is usually right there waiting for a snack to swim by!

Colin, what`s the best way to get to the brickworks, I was thinking heading that way this weekend.

I saw him/her there sunbathing most weekend last summer LOL! Hopefully he/she will come back soon and he/she did not show any fear to human......this is what I am worried.....sometimes some children threw stone into the pond and those parents did tell them off!!! :x

Steve a little difficult to tell you since I am not sure where your coming from but here is a link you can map it out it is rather easay to find cheers...

may i suggest that, if possible, you walk from Broadview subway station?

You see a few more birds when you head down the hill at Pottery Rd plus you can also walk the Don River path.
just be careful when you cross Pottery Rd to get onto Bayview. You have to walk on the shoulder of the road for 5+ minutes.
