Colours on a Snowy Day!

With winter's last blast of snow since Monday, things are pretty bleak here in Peterborough but thanks to Nature we have had a burst of colour in our backyard to ward off the depression. Here is a link to an album of pictures taken through our patio doors over the last two days showing some of nature's loveliest creatures. From goldfinches in various states of moult to dazzling red house finches & the regal couple, our northern cardinals, we have been blessed with this display.

Thanks for sharing those Vic!  Your male goldfinches are certainly more advanced than the 2 I have here, they are only about half as ripe as yours are - and they just arrived yesterday altho the fm have been here for a couple of weeks.  Your shots of the fm cardinal are especially good!
