Blanding's Turtle at the Spit.

a Blanding's Turtle was spotted at Tommy Thompson Park today, in a small (rain made) pond located near the entrance of the second peninsula past the red bridge!

Very nice find, and a great pic!  Blandings are threatened species in Ontario and becoming more and more rare, always nice to hear about them being spotted.

Very neat.  I have yet to see a Blandings Turtle, as I've only seen painted and snapping ones.  Very cool.

I'm not sure if it's the same pond, but there were two Blanding's Turtles today in the Goldfish pond.  Along with at least 18 Painted Turtles.
