I had a mating pair spend about 1 hour flying from tree to tree in the backyard yesterday, hoping to find a suitable spot to nest on the 16 mile creek right by these trout ponds.
I saw a male do a lap of the trout pond scoping things out the week before and i believe he brought his mate for the final say, sadly it does not look like she gave him the thumbs up on the area. :cry:
I will have to research and set up a box or 2 for next spring.
