Hello Fairly new to this forum, and have a question about posting photos.  I can't seem to post any, I'm using a mac
and thought that might be the problem. Also what is the size limit for Jpeg's?

Regards

Neil

Just learned myself!

First, the site does not host images from what I gather though the photo gallery may have different rules so, the image first must be uploaded to another online image database such as flickr.com.

Then you have to get the URL for the photo up to the .jpg extension and copy the URL text.  i.e. "http//*********.jpg"

Open a new post and hit the [IMG] button and then paste the URL and hit the [IMG] again and when you submit your post the image should be visible.

Since the image is not on this site I don't think there is a size limit.

Tom.

One thing I have discovered with Flickr.com which probably generally applies:

To get the URL of the image, don't copy the URL from the address bar.  Instead right click on the .jpg itself, select properties and copy the text of the image URL up to ".jpg".  The URL of the page you happen to be looking at is different from the URL location of the image itself.

Hope this helps.

or open a photo bucket account which has the copy and paste tags underneath each shot when the image is uploaded to your account.

If you want to post an image you have to be hosting the picture somewhere else.  For instance lets say you pic is hosted at
"http://mypics.ca/baldeagle"

Then to post that pic you would type the following without the quotations.

""

Also if you look above when posting.  Underneath the subject line if you highlight over Img it tells you this.  The same with pposting a URL or web link.

I hope that helps
