You think that makes u crazy - you have to try getting a decent pic of the little duffers!

...for the warblers - I made us "flash" cards over the winter to help learn at least some of the more common ones, I can recognize at least 10-15 on a good day , don't ask about a bad day when my brain isn't working! (yes, that would be most days)

Binos, you should try photographing them, now thats a good workout

It takes practice, patience and arm strength. Forget the neck cramps from looking straight up. Sometimes less powerful binoculars will have wider fields of vision and thats good. I have an old pair of 'wide angle' 7 X 35's that are still great for warblering. Fall warblers? To me not a big excitement. I'll call it a warbler and leave it at that. Let's see yellow belly....brown/olive top...white wing bars;  narrows the options down to all of them!? Fall is for raptors, winter for owls and ducks, spring migration is for colour and variety. Oh and summer is for swimming but keep the bins close by.
