We went to High Park, this morning. The bird highlights at Grenadier Pond were 3 Caspian Terns, 1 Great Blue Heron, 1 Black-crowned Night-heron, Wood Ducks with young, and an immature Bonaparte's Gull.

At Sam Smith, the highlights were 1 Gray Catbird, 1 Northern Flicker, a Black-crowned Night-heron roosting high in an evergreen, and a Cooper's Hawk. The hawk tried to nab a pigeon and missed. After that, Barn Swallows harassed the hawk.
