Here's a few from tonight.  There are some unique ducks out there (Shoveler, Wood, Gadwall, Wigeon) but you'll need at least 500mm to get any type of shots of them.

And if you're wondering what the bugs were like....

Tom,

Mercifully they were only gnats, but they were EVERYWHERE.  Got into hair, clothes, and I wouldn't be surprised if they figured out how to get into a camera as well!

Gee, those things are everywhere! Tonight while I was photographing Turkey Vultures in my backyard they were all over the place!

I like your dove shot Attila, it shows that little irridescent purplish spot on their neck really well - and how did you get that darn Chickadee to sit still long enough for a nice clear shot like that! :-)

Cody - I hear ya!  Last week I was down at Centre Island and it was the exact same way!  Was hoping to find a fly catcher to come clear them all out but no dice...

JMCDA - The chickadees at Halls Rd. are very people oriented and have no problem flying quite close to you.  That being said, they are almost always moving!  So what did I do to keep him there?? I whistled.  :)  The frustrating thing was that I had him in some great poses but then he'd move as soon as I pressed the shutter which caused the photo to be blurred!
