Brown Duck/Goose with Red around the eyes, snapped this pic this morning at Ashbridges Bay, bigger than a Mallard more Goose like, light white and tan body but distinct red around the eyes...

...thanks for all the feedback looks like it has been figured out...

I am not sure but I have heard about a Muscovy Duck in the beaches was it friendly

Thanks Grant, yes very friendly, I spoke with a guy who said a lady comes everyday and feeds it, basically where ever I went the duck would follow me not shy at all, also the guy mentioned the duck was thought to be some exotic duck from Mexico or somewhere south and that it was lost, I remember in around March I saw it in the same place in Ashbridges Bay, regardless it it quite interesting looking and very.

yeah we ran into one at waterford ponds, same thing. Def. a muscovy duck though the one we saw was white and red.

I was just reading about the Beaches' Muscovy!  The woman who's been feeding the duck (whom she's nicknamed Hershey) wrote an article about him for the Toronto Star.  Unfortunately the web version doesn't have the photo that was in the print version, but you can still read the story online:
