Birded Col. Sam Friday eve and early Sat. morning and again in afternoon. Highlights were a pleasant surprise of a Scarlet Tanager, Veery on Friday night (big bowl), Indigo Buntings (sm.bowl on Sat). An E.Bluebird south of the residence south of the sm.bowl. and 7 Bobolinks in the wet fields south of the 'pond'. watched one of the Cooper's H. lunching on something in the middle of the big bowl. Orioles, Blk.Thr.Blue Warblers, Chestnut-sided and Palm.
