Lakeside Park in Mississauga (S. on Southdown Rd from QEW to PetroCan Refinery make the obligatory right and your on Lakeshore Rd) Lakeside Pk on the left (S) has 2 parts; first (east) a dog off leash and then (west) a green space. The west side of of the green space is a small ravine. That and the fringes all around the 'park' have provided over the years many surprises for a very unassuming place.  Yesterday and today though fairly quiet was no different; Am.Redstart, Magnolia, Yellow, Chestnut Sided, Blk.Thr.Blue & Green, Y.Rumped for the Warblers. Red eyed and Warbling for the Vireos. Swainson's Thrush, Catbirds, a 'never say summer is here' Dark Eyed Junco! For the Empids; Least Flycatcher, Acadian and Olive Sided to round things out.  B.Orioles as well.

A little further west on Lakeshore at Joshua Creek Pk. just west of W.Churchill on N. side. I did a quick perimeter of the treatment facillity and can add a pair of Indigo Buntings (nesting?), At least 4 (= 2 prs. ) of Swainson's Thrushes, Eastern Phoebe (resident pair) and new to the area a Mockingbird.

Birding takes my mind off stuff and it adds good life to a tuff life. It also helps me forget about my spine pain and stress.  Laugh, eat, be merry.  Anybody with extra $ may send me some as It will permit me to travel.
