This evening, shortly after 6:00, I heard a Nighthawk overhead. It got may attention because it was much earlier than I would normally expect to hear one. It was still bright daylight. There were three of them moving west, a couple of blocks north of the lake in south Etobicoke. They were definitely on the move. They weren't hanging around like resident birds would.
