I was there yesterday (Sunday). It was great to see we have 2 pairs of nesting red necked grebes. Let's hope we get to see the babies this year. Did not see any other RN grebes - a month ago there were many. Same with terns, only saw 2, common I think.
Only one mute swan.
Canada Geese: 2 sets of goslings, a dozen on the parkland and 5 in the water near the restaurant.
Dozens of tree swallows and RW Blackbirds, robins.
BTW, I have half a dozen A. goldfinches on the feeder every day (Brampton) and a small robin seems to have adopted us. He's been here since Friday digging around the bottom of the sunburst locust.
