#1 looks like a Common Merg family. The sharp white throat on the mother is distinctive.

#2 Looks like a female Canvasback.

#3 Juvie Male Goldeneye looks right

#4 might be juv Cow bird or Juv Euro Starling.. I'd lean toward Starling due to the sharper beak.

Kin, did you reverse #2 & #3?

I'd agree with the Common Mergansers for #1, and the female Canvasback for #3.

I'd say that #2 is a female Hooded Merganser.  (I don't think a juvenile would have a yellow eye yet.)  The head profile looks a bit odd, but that's a merganser bill.  A Goldeneye's bill is quite stubby.

#4 looks like a juvenile Starling.  It's looking at the camera, but the bill looks to be very long and pointy, plus the pink legs narrow the choices.

Thank you guys for replies.

So basically....

#1 Common Mergansers Juveis
#2 Female Hooded Merganser
#3 Female Canvasback (I knew this could not have been an eider as someone told me)
#4 Juvy Starling (makes sense since two feet to the right of him was an adult starling.

Thank you guys.
