I've been disappointed lately with what my feeders have been attracting with only a couple of hummingbirds and a lonely looking Indigo Bunting arriving in the past several weeks.  Watching jays and cowbirds is getting a little monotonous so I was a bit happier when I wandered into the back field and found a couple of Eastern Kingbirds.

I'd be real happy if an Indigo Bunting stopped by my feeders :-) but yes, I am experiencing the same here, even the goldfinches and siskins seem to be coming only very occasionally for a few seeds, altho they are singing away up in the trees.
Grackles +babies, cowbirds + babies, sparrows, starlings, doves seem to be the majority, the jays and cardinals come irregularily and once in a while the RRBW shows up.  Haven't  seen a woodpecker or nuthatch in a couple of weeks and even the hummers are only occasional.   I guess they are finding more natural food sources, which is good, and using my offerings as a suppliment when needed.

the Bunting is a very pretty sight, only ground feeding but a remarkable colour.  Very skittish though...
