Not that I'm volunteering but maybe a backup admin might be an idea???

It was indeed painful not to be able to chat.

I don't think it's fair to suggest  Andy never take vacations, BUT, I think he should be fitted with an ankle bracelet containing a transmitter!:) Seriously tho, I've been around here for a couple of years and I don't remember the last time it was down so I think we're all pretty well off where the board is concerned.

when i could not connect i had my hubby check all our internet connections *LOL* at first i thought it was us
then i read the message i got from the server..he just shook his head and said, hun..when did the admin say he was coming back? i had forgotten

but all in all welcome home Andy :) hope your trip was restful and fun.

i also missed logging in but...it gave me an opportunity to read, and learn other things (like cameras and birds *gasp* i even bought some books)

it was a great time for me to explore my area and to use my own skills (however small they are) to look for birds on my own with my little birdie book lol

i love this list and the information provided so Kudos to you Andy and thank you.

so....when's the next holiday? *grin*
