Wednesday night at Riverwood Park ... Catbird, Cedar Waxwings, Goldfinches (males), Robins, etc. These birds sighted at the pond by the main parking lot.

Later in the evening, attended an "Introduction to Bats". This was an excellent event - very interesting and informative. Very Happy Saw lots of Little Brown and Big Brown bats while out walking with a great bunch of people.

Also saw dozens of fireflies ... so beautiful! Sighted 2 Great Blue Herons in the Credit River just below the Burnhamthorpe Bridge. They proceeded to take off once all the bat watchers arrived (25 people).

Earlier in the evening, went for a walk at Erindale Park - lots of frogs in the pond just South of Burnhamthorpe (on East side of main trail). Also lots of butterflies and dragonflies.

At the end of the evening (10pm), saw 2 Cottontail Rabbits running like "bats out of hell"! hehe.
