GH Owl mom feeds baby a skunk

Man what an experience.  THe other day i seen the baby up in the tree squawking away.  I could hear the mom calling back in the woods.  Then all of a sudden here comes mom out of the woods with a skunk in her talons.  She then lands beside her baby and hands it the skunk.  Then the mom flies off to another tree and then the baby flies to the ground to eat it.  Tasty tasty!

WOW!!! Absolutely spectacular photos. My cherished captures are very similar to your last two photos or are shadows in the early morning light at the hawk watch.
