Hello Everyone
I would like to offer up two locations I have in Waterloo Region to anyone that fancies hawks. I know of two different nests-the first nest the babies are off and flying, and the second nest babies are out perching but not flying.
I obviously cant say for sure, but I believe that the parents of the first nest, located in a cemetery several blocks away from my house come to my area to hunt the large pidgeon population. I do know for sure that one baby comes too, because he is always screeching and has since he was big enough to come out of the nest. He comes by almost daily now, and sometimes perches ontop of telephone poles or smoke stacks on buildings. He also can be seen, and heard, flying high up above us. He is quite charming and very large and doesnt mind if you stand and snap pictures of him. My daughters have nicknamed him Crybaby.
Anyway, I feel selfish for not sharing my information. I fell in love with the parents, then the sweet little babies. I feel that I have found so many of them that I should share my location with any fellow hawk lovers who would like a location where its very easy to see many.
If you would like any more information please feel free to contact me.
Thanks
