Thanks to the info on this site I found the pond! Couldn't miss it really. We took advantage of a gap in the weather and though it was mid-afternoon, there were some nice birds (for me anyway).

Four Great Egrets still around, three Caspian Terns, Two each of Lesser Yellowlegs, Greater Yellowlegs, Spotted Sand and Killdeer as well as single Semi-p Sand and Least Sand.

I might try and do this site as many mornings as possible this week as it isn't too far from where we're staying.

Glad you found it.

I hope our "beautiful" weather will keep you from getting homesick

Ah yes! Rain - but this stuff's warm!

No waders to see at all this morning. Heard a Lesser Legs at the 'other' pond. Paid a brief visit to Cranberry Marsh - I like this place but never found anywhere where you can get a good look at the pool.

For Cranberry, did you come in via Hall's Road or the Lynde Shores parking lot?

If coming in by Hall's Road, park at the second area that's closest to the lake. The path will split south towards the lake, and then heading east along the lake, there's a few places where you can look into the marsh.

From Lynde Shores, if you follow the bird feeder trail, there's a path south towards the marsh, and there's a lookout platform there as well.
