My wife and I are heading out to Montreal for a road trip end of month and are looking forward to seeing stuff in Presquile and Frontenac (breaks up the drive, so a couple of days in each location - Mon/Tue and Fri/Sat (not fixed as to which location for when) and Wed/Thur in Montreal itself).
The board is reporting lots of shorebirds at Presquile, and now owls have been mentioned. We are expecting to see no owls because our eyes seem to be selective in not being able to see them. Any suggestions from you more experienced people? What to look for (terrain, activity, close to trunk/not so close - any info would be useful).
If anyone else is up there around those times we'd love to meet up - hey, even if we don't see stuff we're good company. We also enjoy a good hike (up to 15km a day, drops to a couple if lots of photos being taken).
