At least one Northern Mockingbird has been over-wintering the last few years in my workplace neighbourhood of industrial buildings and railroad tracks. Since late summer, four Mockers have been present and they were singing and chasing each other this morning. Perhaps, they are a family group. If so, the young have remained with the parents for quite some time.
Their favorite spot is the corner of Adrian and Wiltshire which is north of Dupont and east off Symington.
