Recent Trumpeter Swan Sightings

Trumpeter Swans seen at Sunnyside Sun Oct 18 2009,   wing tag 155 and H10, also recently seen  H11,  886 and one untagged individual by Humber Bay bridge.
        Has anyone seen any Tundra swans yet this fall?

Are you reporting tagged swans?  I saw a tagged Trumpeter at Pringle Creek (#191 if memory serves me correctly).

 Yes, both tagged and untagged to above Wye Marsh link.  I also call Mr. Harry Lumsden to report tagged Trumpeter Swans and to find out their history.  Always an enjoyable, interesting and informative conversation with him!  :D

I totally agree - I have many a time reported tagged Trumpters and have been pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from Mr. Lumsden requesting any more information you can offer.  He is a friendly man full of knowledge and insight.

Many years ago, contacted TOC re: a tagged Trumpeter Swan.  They gave me Mr. Lumsden's phone #, I gave him a call and all these years later, still talking with him.  Have never met him in person but found this picture of him on Google Images.
