My mom, sister, and I were on our way to work today. At around 11:00am on Browns Line, a TTC Bus was stopped in the right lane and a car was stopped in the left lane. We noticed an animal crossing the road. When the animal was finished crossing in the left lane, the person drove off allowing us to move up for a closer look while the TTC Bus was still stopped to allow the animal to cross in the right lane. The animal was a medium sized Virginia Opossum walking with a limp. In the end, I looked back to see the Virginia Opossum cross the road safely. It was very nice to see people stopped so that the Virginia Opossum could cross the road safely.
