Out for a walk with a new colleague, his comment was that the walk was a lot more interesting as the waterfowl were being pointed out (and doubtless I missed a lot).

if you go to the East park, there are tonnes of buffleheads there now and the occasional red-necked grebe.

Humber Bay Park is great.  I went Saturday morning and saw most of your list.  I had the opportunity to stand and watch/listen a mockingbird.  It stayed in one spot in clear view for about 5 mins. (until a large group with dogs came along).  This was a first for me and I thoroughly enjoyed it.  With the weather and the bird singing, I almost convinced myself spring was on the way.  There were also several pairs of cardinals flitting in and out along the path.

there definitely is a resident mockingbird. took pictures of him in the butterfly garden a month ago. saw him on sunday just across the bridge near the monument. was imitating only a few birds.  also saw a lovely male cardinal.

humber bay = weekday visits. it can be a poopshow on the weekends. dog owners letting their dogs offleash around the ponds and lots of people feeding ducks.
