here,s a male common merganzer,from the ganny,in port hope,and a nice red-tail,on a wire,just outside brighton. oh,and a GBH,from amherst island a while back.

great picture of the common merganzer; I saw a group of six of them today at fifty point marina but they were too far out for my lense. The gbh from amherst island is beautiful; I love how they are completely oblivious to everything when they are fishing

this merganzer was only about 50 ft out. the closest i,ve seen.the herons are very interesting to watch.i,ve got several photos of him,capturing,and eating fish.
