Hooded Merganser Humber Bay

Well I ventured down to find my favorite couple, seems there are now 2 males and one female...for some reason everytime I get to their location the clouds come and the lighting is really bad ..anyway I will keep trying but here are some from today I took quite a few as they look so different in the lighting...ps after observing these Mergansers in the freazing cold today I can't help but think they are truly in love they just seem to have the time of their life and it was a joy to watch them interact, at one point the 3 Mergansers were diving down around some Canada Geese and the goose actually grabbed one with his beak but it wiggled away quite funny....

Great shots! I saw a layer of ice on the stream and the boardwalk pond areas today - I hope they'll stick around despite that.
