I was talking to a local farmer / nature enthusiast who asked me if I was aware of the difference between a coyote penis and the rest of the canids -- he had heard from someone at the MNR that the coyote penis does not have a sheath and retracts directly into the body...and that this is a way to determine whether or not the animal is a pure coyote or a wolf / coy hybrid...I had to admit to my neighbour that ummm....I am not up on my mammalian intromittant organs but that I would put it out to some very learned people I know....soooo.....anyone?
