Drove up to Algonquin Park today and saw a female Pine Grosbeak and many American Goldfinch at the Visitor's Centre; Gray Jays, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Chickadees and a Raven at the Spruce Bog Boardwalk; cow moose along Hwy. 60; Pine Marten at Mew Lake. The Marten hung around and we got to watch it scampering up the trees, eating snow and sunflower seeds.

Great shot Moira.
Wow you sure are making use of your time off.
You have travelled quite a distance over the holidays.
With great results I must say!
What are you going to do on Monday.
Arg!! :x Back to work everyone!!!

I was in withdrawal working 9-5 and not being able to go out in the evening. You are then dependent on good weather on the weekends. So, I decided to take advantage of the week off and do some travelling. I have thoroughly enjoyed it, met some great people, saw some birds/animals for the first time and am dreading going back to the desk
! Bring on the longer days!!
