We were out on Amherst too on Sunday and Monday - our first time. We didn't have as much luck with owls as you guys, but we still enjoyed ourselves. We did have a nice view of the saw-whet. We also saw lots of chickadees, downy woodpeckers, hairy woodpeckers, white breasted nuthatches, American tree sparrows, mourning doves, trumpeter swans, northern harriers, an American kestrel, common goldeneyes, and a house finch.

I don't know about that - January saw a Screech, Long Eared Owl, and the Snowy on the docks. Without the drive!

Lucky you Bernie!  That must have been a great day.  I have not seen owls at CSM, although had a great day there last Saturday.
