Hi everyone.

This afternoon at Lake Aquitaine, saw a Mockingbird.  Also saw 2 Cardinals (1m, 1f).

At Maplewood Park, saw lots of Crows and Chickadees.  I was feeding shelled peanuts to squirrels and a Crow swooped down to grab and fly away with a peanut.

Lake Aquitaine:  SE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Aquitaine Ave., behind the Meadowvale Community Centre.

Maplewood Park:  East side of Glen Erin Dr., just North of Aquitaine Ave.

Hi, BB -- just read your post, and thanks for mocker location. I'm trying to keep track of where these violent charm-your-face-off, fluffy mimids are holding Winter territories again this year, and it looks like I'll be buying more coloured pins for my low-fi map ...

Any other reports from obserare more than welcome ... what they're feeding on (How's your tree and shrub I.D. ? Even a vague description of vegetative food selections would be helpful ...

I kind of "ran on" a bit at this point, so I moved it to "Ranting For The Disturbed" in a shameless act of attempted ingratiation with the long-suffering moderators ...

No problemo, Norman.    Too funny re: RFTD and moderators!

I've seen/heard Mockingbirds here at Lake A. mimic Blue Jays, Crows, Catbirds, etc.  Quite spectacular!

My tree and shrub I.D. isn't very good but if I observe any feeding happening, will let you know.
