Greetings!

We went to 50 Point Conservation Area to see a Black Scoter (no luck) and instead saw a male King Eider. It was in the marina with the other ducks and the views were quite close. There was also a White-winged Scoter and lots of Long-tailed Ducks.

Directions
To get to 50 Point CA take the QEW to 50 Road in Grimsby (exit #78). Turn left (north) and take your first right onto the service road and then your first left (Baseline road) which will take you to the gates. It is $8.00 per car for the day.

Cheers,
Bernie

Hi Bernie,

Have you been to the Humber Arboretum lately? Anything interesting to report? (I'm not that close but I'm looking for an excuse to go there, haven't been for several months). Thanks!

There has not been much. Juncos, Gold and House Finches, Cardinals. No Owls that I have heard of...also the weather has been less than ideal.

I am hoping to check it out tomorrow and if I find something I can report it.

Cheers,

Bernie

Tomorrow looks promising weatherwise (should be some sun!!) so I'm also hoping to be there tomorrow, probably about 2 pm. Thanks for the quick reply btw.
