Wow! all I can say is a huge thank you to Meghan! Amherst was awesome, the owls were awesome, and you were awesome.
There are some owls still hanging around Owl Woods and we found some! It was an incredible feeling find the first, then after that it seemed almost
easy!
I was in awe- we saw the Boreal, Barred and Saw-Whet owls, and also a snowy owl. All firsts for me!

thanks again Meghan for a most incredible day (sorry i talked the whole time i was so excited)

Irene :)(who suggests ear plugs next time) LOL

That's awsome that you saw the owls!
I didn't get a chance to see the nsw the boreal or the snowy when we went so I may have to go back  :D

You are both great to go birding with.
Hmmm who talks more?
I would have to say a tie.
But you are both fantastic company.
I have to thank Irene for spotting the Boreal. And for "telling" me where to look for the NSWO
Your "bionic" eye is quite handy.
We were unable to locate any Short Eared Owls, and there is apparently only one Long Eared Owl remaining.
The apparent reason for this was quite evident in the size (**read very fat) Barred Owl who now resides in Owl Woods.
Thanks again Irene,
Crystal, we'll just have to go back.
