Would have loved it on a fencepost or something more attractive, but will definitely settle for seeing this beautiful hawk.

Very nice shots Moira, I'm sometimes picky too on a certain type of perch, but when it comes to a beautiful bird of prey, I will settle on anything that it sits on.
