I've noticed in my travels throughout Totronto, and at my feeder array, a surprising number of this species, which appears to be rebounding quite nicely from the "Conjunctivitis Catastrophe" about a decade ago ...
Depending on the type(s) of feeder(s) you might have, it is still wise to disinfect them regularly (I think a 5% Javex -H20 would be sufficient -- any comments on this?).
If you like goldfinches -- and why wouldn't you? -- I found "thistleseed socks," which are just that, at Home Depot for $12, and figured "Why not?". They really bring them in, and the chickadees figured them out pretty quickly as well. The regular "wild bird" mix brings in the house finches, chickadees, and rather a lot of juncos, which are inspected closely for plumage variations ("Oregon" types, in various degrees, are out there ... always worth a look); unsalted, shelled peanuts and sunflower seeds are nice and fatty, and a bit of suet will attract those crabby little things what go "Yank! Yank!" and downies, at least ...
