Welcome Scott, wonderful capture excellent clearity and colour..I totally agree with Yogi the Sparrow is a very underated bird for beauty!....looking forward to more of your posts thanks for sharing...

Welcome Scott.  It was great to meet yesterday and only wish we had some great shots of the elusive Snow Geese to post.  Lovely shot of the Sparrow.

Thank you for the kind comments Andreas, Denis, RC, Yogi, Niloc & Moira. You are certainly right regarding the sparrows Yogi, one of my 2010 projects is to photograph as many different species of Ontario sparrows as possible. Moira, at least we know where to find them and we can hope for a few 'postable' images next time.

Scott, I really like the composition of your photo, and the blurred background is a perfect match to highlight the subject matter.  Well done!
