My relatives in Fort Erie and Port colborne were blasted with an early fall storm last week.
I am going to fort Erie this coming weekend to help clean up, bringing a truck and a chainsaw.
People are still without power. This type of weather is not unusual for the lake Erie area.. (somewhat Normanesque) nowhere near as creative..
I remember 1977, the storm that moved the entire depth of fallen snow from the the frozen lake "Erie" onto Buffalo, Fort Erie and Port Colborne. it was really nasty and at the same time fun as a kid in Grade **. Shortly after the storm we did a tour of the lake shore and were shocked at the amount of snow that had been driven onshore...
