I did The Islands again today and at and west of the airfield on Hanlans Point I found Black-bellied Plover, Wilson's Snipe, a juvenile Red-headed Woodpecker, Brown Thrasher, 12 Field Sparrows, Swamp Sparrows, Eastern Towhees, Eastern Meadowlarks, Rusty Blackbirds, and a Lapland Longspur.
The other areas had the usual suspects including Winter Wrens, Nashville Warbler and a good number of both Kinglets to keep a birder busy and on his or her toes.
In the Trout Pond on Gibralter Point were 8 Canvasback in the a.m.
