nothing to see at the Spit today (didn't have the time or energy to look for the snowy that may be there), but I kept on seeing this kestrel. good looking fella, he is. once, he dove and i was hoping to catch him eating lunch, but he ended up empty-taloned.

dude...i told you, leslie spit is only worth it if you want a great view of Toronto in the winter and if you enjoy walking.
sparse wildlife and lots of walking. it would have been another hr if i wanted to look for the snowy.

its literally the only thing i saw in 2 hrs at the spit. no woodpeckers. maybe 1 chickadee from a distance.
saw him twice (near the middle ponds, where i usually see him). there's another one, i believe, that is near the field near the front parking lot.
