Clear Cr. Forest is an NCC property (Nature Cons.Can) in th N.W corner of Hwy 3 (now Co.Rd.3) and Rd.121 (Duart Rd). A wonderful old growth Forest (v.rare in S.Ont.), a dense young forest section and a field in regeneration. Amazing trees and flowers, good birding and better potential birding soon. For those headed to Long Point, Rondeau or Pelee it is well worth the visit. Cuurently the forest floor is a carpet of spring ephemerals. There is a Beech Tree 130 cm in diameter and a Wh. Oak the same. Tulip Trees straight as an arrow to 25M before first branch.
