Yah lucked out on this one, I am squemish though I know it is part of nature and all but it still saddens me to see the little guy like that :-(

dude, don't be sad. if the hawk didn't kill the squirrel, the squirrel may have tried to kill YOU!

Great pics Colin.  I'm a sucker for the nuthatch and the female cardinal, although the hawk series is stunning - crisp, clear images.

Great find and photos of the RTH.
You seem to have luck with squirrel kills.
Was it you who found the RTH flying with a squirrel in MPC?
