Hi all, this is my 1st post from Kingston, Ontario. I am looking to buy my first birding scope but theres not much around here. Anyone know of any stores or evern online they are good to deal with for scopes. Thanks and have a good week.

One of the best stores in the Toronto area is Efstone Science at Dufferin & the 401. They are also on the Net and may sell that way too but if like me you prefer more hands on then I'm not sure what may available in Ottawa/Kingston?

Don't forget about Ebay.  I bought mine, hassle free and in great condition, for a good price.

Late reply, just saw this thread.

If you are ever visiting Point Pelee, then definitely check out the Pelee Wings nature store (west of the park entrance about 1 km), outstanding selection, competitive prices, good service.  You can compare a huge variety of scopes head to head.

They also have a good range of nature/birding books and other assorted merchandise.

Don't know if they do mail order.
