I live on the ninth floor of a condo near the lake. Last spring a pair of Canada Geese tried to build a nest in the garden wall of my terrace. Quite aggressive and came back frequently. Chasing them away did not help. Ended up putting black garbage bag flags up to create noise and movement. They never nested, but, hung around the condo the rest of the summer, standing along the roof edges. They left in the fall. Well, this morning I heard honking and lo and behold they are back! They are currently sitting in my garden contemplating life. One of them saw me move and hissed. Is it not a little too early to be thinking of nesting? Any input/suggestions appreciated.
