:D

Anyone else watch today's game?  Absolutely nerve wracking when the USA tied the game 2-2 with 24.4 seconds left in the 3rd Period!

Didn't surprise me that Sidney Crosby scored the winning goal for Canada in OT.

Excellent game overall.

Now it's back to NHL and watching my beloved Leafs lose.  :(

We hooped and we hollered, neighbors be dammed. This is important! The release into party mode was all the sweeter and louder than 8 years ago against the Us because it was such a nail-biter. What a party downtown.

Oh, THAT game! Yup, saw the end and it's a good thing 'cause I would have had to wait at least five minutes to see it  again...and again...and - I think you get the idea but I'm still not tired of watching it! Btw, my cardinal finally started singing this morning and he was wearing his best red outfit! Just a coincidence, I'm not so sure!?

LMAO!    I probably startled a few neighbours while out on the balcony after the game screaming "YES!!!", clapping my hands and stomping my feet.  :D

:D  Yesterday morning everyone was walking around the lake and asking "Are you going to watch the game today?".  Today, everyone was asking "Did you watch the game"?

Driving home from watching the game, we saw two young girls (with Dad & dog close behind) in Brooklin, standing on the corner of Thickson & Winchester waving large Canadian flags.  Cars were responding with lots of honking.  It was a great feeling!

I can't tell you what I think he said because this is a family show! (hint - the female cardinal was nowhere to be seen 'cause I think she had a headache!).

Btw, both cardinals, as expected, showed up after sunset to enjoy a quiet supper alone at the feeder, really neat to watch them feeding in almost total darkness! Now where is everybody else?, i.e. robins, bluejays, finches, etc.

And now, alas, back to normal. Tonight we can watch our Toronto team, a bottom dweller (coached by the USA's coach and managed by the USA's manager) take on another bottom dweller in an albeit meaningless game. So sad after watching our wonderful Canadian teams bring home the gold.
