Greetings to all :D

Went to Presqu'ile Park today for the first time with Mike and had a good day of shooting. Great weather and some nice birds.

Enjoy

Wow Clemens!  I was thinking how cute the owl looked and then the hawk shook me out of that frame of mind.  Very clear, sharp images - fantastic.

Thanks to all for your comments :D

Special thanks to my good friend Mike who took me there. Was bumbed  :(   out Saturday morning, went to Col Sam Park to catch the sunrise and when I went back to my car, someone smashed the side window and took my camera bag and back up tripod. Lucky the bag was empty but was worth a few dollars. So Mike and I didn't want to waste the day and went up to Presqu'ile Park to cheer me up. Thanks Mike.
So a word of caution, don't go early to the park and be the only car in the parking lot.
Yes Egret, just went up for the day, about 1hr and 15 min to get there.

Sam Smith has looked a little rough at times. and the parking lot is kind of hidden without tonnes of traffic.

general rule to all birders: have your non-essentials in the trunk BEFORE you get to your destination. thieves will watch to see what you're putting into your trunk. they see you walking out with $$$ of camera equipment and they know you're gone for hrs. you are a big target.
