there's a bit of an interesting story behind me shooting the harlequins.   first, three of them were sitting on a rock on the southeastern part of Humber Bay East.  how I found them and my take on some photographer's ethics can be found out if you PM me.

in any event, here are a few pictures of the male (sorry, ladies).

Yup!  Did you tell him about the Harlequins?  If so, muchos gracias!  I was up to my ankles in muck with a co-operative American Wigeon, when I got the whistle for the Harlequins (what we were looking for!)

i was the guy who told him about the harlequins, yes. teach your hubby how to say "thank you!" :)

great pics richard. i was  there at 9.30,and couldn,t find them in the usual spots,on the south side.
