got the camera back at 11:30. was at the Brickworks at 11:45. :)

tonight, i will share my bed with the D700 and make my fiancee crash on the couch!!

just remember: i have the luxury of using a professional photographer's $3000 camera. and the lens was my contribution to the relationship and is not cheap either.
photography's an expensive hobby, so unless you love it that much, you should be relatively content with what you shoot with.

Nice picture, but I think it's a White-breasted Nuthatch, which can have a bit of a rusty tinge below. A Red-breasted Nuthatch should have a black stripe going through the eye and all the way back, whith a thin white stripe separating it from the black crown.

Nice pic though I must agree with Thomas, that is definitely a White-breasted Nuthatch, not a Red.
