got these last week-end,while returning home from peterborough.finally a red-tail,that launched  the right way,instead of the usual butt shots.cloudy conditions again,but oh,well!

Nice shots Denis.  Is it a young one , since there's no belly band and the other dark spots are like the diamond shaped feathers on the immature ones?

i believe it,s an adult by the dark brown eye,and very bright red tail .
