Apr 3 - LaSalle Park and Marine

Had a nice quiet stroll at LaSalle. My findings were:
1- Tundra Swan in and among multiple Trumpeters, and Canada Geese.
4 - American Coots
Numerous Song Sparrows
3 - Golden Crowned Kinglets.
2 - Northern Flickers
Group of Tree Swallows
Such were the highlights of the walk. I found the harbour walk to be quite noisy, with all the cackling Ring Billed Gulls!

The Tundra swan has been confirmed by BSC as a Trumpeter swan with the rare characteristic yellow eye patch as Tundra swans.

I was there on the 13th and took a photo of the head and yellow wing marker. I sent this information off to BSC and they are the ones that confirmed it for me, as I also thought it was a Trundra. I have also sent the information off to the BBL this evening and am hoping to get more information on this bird in the next few weeks or so. I just want to know where the bird came from, the sex and age of it.
So I guess we are both still looking for a Tundra. *LOL*
