Easter Sunday at the Arsenal Lands
on:
April 05, 2010, 04:42:20 PM
Was hoping to get out to High Park but that didn't happen so I made the best of it and snuck away over to the Arsenal Lands in Mississauga..its pretty incredible once you go through the fence! There is a small pond with many reeds and those bushy tall things (not sure what they were called) and two small swampy areas further southwest of the Black water tower.
Kestrel-Male
Tree Swallow
Mocking Bird

Great photos, nice shot of the kestrel and mockingbird. Love it when a mocking bird sings and mimics other birds. Music to my ears.

Fantastic shot of the Mocking Bird and I love how the sun shows off the colour of the Swallow.
Great photos Irene.
